The Long Beach Business Journal is hosting a series of free workshops this spring to help businesses take concrete steps to improve their storytelling skills, and to ensure that their story is heard by potential clients, funders and customers. Participants will gain simple, useful skills in working with video and photo, as well as best practices in social media marketing.
The workshops will each have a theme, but will be designed so that businesses can attend each independently. The two-hour sessions will include a take-home workbook, resources, contacts and real-time practice.
All of the sessions will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Billie Jean King Main Library, 200 W. Broadway, Long Beach. They will be followed by fellowship and refreshments until 1 p.m.
